The Deltabeam factory in Finland represents cutting-edge world-class technology for the manufacturing of beams: more than 250 beam weekly production capacity and every single manufactured beam is customer-specific. Quality & Environment The results of the work in quality and environment are inspected regularly by external audits carried out by SFS-Inspecta Certification, VTT Technical Research Centre, SITAC Swedish Institute for Technical Approval in Construction, Schweißtechnische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt SLV Hannover and Ministry Of Construction Russia Federal Centre Of Certification / OS Sevzapstroisertifi katsiya St. Petersburg. Peikko Group was selected in 2005 to be a supplier for the nuclear power plant construction site of ”Olkiluoto 3” in Finland. Thanks to existing quality systems Peikko Group was also able to meet the special quality requirements of that project. |

Deltabeam – composite beam The patented Deltabeam is a hollow welded steel beam with web holes. The box section of the beam is concreted at site during construction – concreting doubles the stiffness of the beam. The shear connection between the steel beam and concrete is achieved by the concrete dovel action in the web holes. Deltabeam - composite beam
The patented Deltabeam is a hollow welded steel beam with web holes. Deltabeam connects hollow-core slabs, composite and filigran slabs, or in-situ concrete slabs, to uniform load-bearing structure.
