Management Team

Mr. Topi Paananen, M.Sc. (Econ) is Peikko Group's Chief Executive Officer since April 2010. Before he worked for Peikko in the position of Chairman of Board 2007-2010 and Director, International Operations 2005-2007. Prior to Peikko Mr. Paananen has achieved experience from mobile phone component business (Eimo/Foxconn 2000-2005) and decorative coatings business (Akzo Nobel, 1996-2000).

Mr. Kjell-Ole Gjestemoen, B.Sc.(Eng), is responsible for Europe. He was the Managing Director of Peikko Norge As during 2001-2006 and started his work to develop and support the Peikko units in 2007. He has worked for Peikko since 2000. Before his career at Peikko, Kjell-Ole worked several years with import/sales/marketing and technique in the sanitary business (1986-1999), and five years as building engineer in consultant company; Multiconsult As  in Norway (1980-85).

Mr. Michal Horak,(Eng) , is responsible for North America. He has worked for Peikko since 2006. Before joining Peikko Michal Horak has held number of positions in automobile part supplier industry (Valeo) and contract manufacturing (Foxconn).

Mr. Mikko Kuusilehto, M.Sc.(Eng) is Director, Operations, with the responsibility for Peikko Group’s quality, sourcing, logistics, and manufacturing. As of 1 April 2013 Mikko Kuusilehto is also Managing Director of Peikko Slovakia S.R.O. Kuusilehto worked as Managing Director of Peikko Finland (2008-2013) as well as Area Director in 2008-2011 (Finland and the Baltic countries). Before joining Peikko in 2007 Kuusilehto worked in various sales positions in production automation industry (Kemecweld 2006-2007) and electronics industry (Teknoware 2000-2006).

Mr. Raimo Lehtinen, M.Sc. (Eng), is responsible for Peikko's Sales and Marketing. In 2010-2012 he was responsible for developing and managing the international product management organization at Peikko, that is, the commercialization of Peikko's new products. Raimo Lehtinen was the Managing Director of Peikko1993-2010 and R&D engineer 1989-1993. Before his career at Peikko Raimo Lehtinen was a research engineer at VTT, Technical Research Centre of Finland.

Mrs Taru Leinonen, M.Sc. (Civil Eng.), has worked at Peikko since 2000 in various R&D positions. Peikko's multicultural R&D team is responsible for new product development, product approvals and IPR issues. Prior to joining Peikko Taru Leinonen made a long career in structural engineering (Insinööritoimisto Matti Ollila & Co of Helsinki, 1986-2000)

Mr. Esa Rusila, M.Sc. (Eng), is responsible for the Finance and Administration of Peikko. He joined Peikko in 2005 as a Controller and has had various positions in Finance and Administration. Before joining Peikko Esa Rusila held finance-related positions in Martela Corporation (1999-2005). As of 1 March 2013 Rusila is the Managing Director of Peikko Finland Oy.
