Peikko Finland Oy receives "The Employer Of The Year" -award from the city of Lahti
The city of Lahti has decided to give “The Employer Of The Year” –award to Peikko Finland Oy, a family-owned company specialized in composite beams and fastening products for concrete connections. This award has been given annually since 1996 on outstanding companies in the area of Lahti.
The criteria for the recognition are e.g. amount of new employees hired, employment of aged, long unemployed or disabled persons, significant personnel development activities and no lay-offs during the past year.
”We are delighted by the recognition given by the city of Lahti. The work done over the past 40 years for new construction techniques and to increase the competitiveness of our customers has brought also more than 230 jobs in the area of Lahti. Our belief is that the competitiveness of our company will also remain in the future by focusing on the efficiency of our factories, our research and development and our international sales and distribution network”, comments Managing Director Raimo Lehtinen.
