Peikko's Punching and Shear Reinforcement Systems enable simple installation of the floor slab reinforcement without spacers by placing the system on top or with spacers under the main reinforcement. The Punching and Shear Reinforcement is used in reinforced concrete floor slabs that are cast directly onto columns or walls without supporting beams. The system increases, even by 90 %, the punching shear capacity of the floor. The system is usable for slab thicknesses starting from 18 cm. PSB Reinforcement Systems make reinforcement work on site easy compared to traditional reinforcement stirrup assembly.
