TERA Joint

The TERA Joint leave-in-place floor joints allow very fast and precise casting of high quality concrete floor slabs, so essential for demanding applications. The Joint sections are 3 m long and manufactured to extremely close straightness tolerance so they can define the surface level of even the most accurate cast slabs. Once cast-in the joints are designed to allow concrete shrinkage to take place with minimal restraint so virtually eliminating the main cause of early stage cracking in concrete floor slabs. The concrete joint edges of the finished slab are then protected by extremely strong 10 mm x 40 mm steel strips which have sharp edges to minimize the possibility of spalling. The joints are also fitted as standard with either 6 mm or 12 mm dowels to give class-leading load transfer capacity between adjacent slabs. The system also comprises a range of intersection pieces to aid setting-out and give the highest possible quality of finish.
