Financial Controller

The role is based in Finland and follows Peikko’s hybrid work model. The company’s headquarters is in Lahti, Finland. You will report to the Director, Financial Controlling and Shared Services.

Key responsibilities

Local Financial Reporting & Group IFRS Reporting

• Lead and prepare the statutory financial statements and local tax reporting in accordance with Finnish Accounting Standards (FAS) for group’s Finnish entities.
• Support IFRS transition and implementation across ~40 entities, including IFRS reporting templates, accounting policies and manuals.

Group Consolidation & Systems (Anaplan)

• Support monthly and year-end IFRS consolidation process.
• Participate in closing process development and instructions.

Tax & Transfer Pricing

• Coordinate and prepare transfer pricing processes and documentation, including Local and master files preparation and internal transaction documentation.

• Responsible for overall coordination and collaboration of tax matters across Peikko companies.

Financial Control & Compliance

• Support internal control documentation and finance process improvements.
• Collaborate with audit process, tax authority communication.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in:
• Finnish Accounting Standards (FAS) reporting and Group accounting.
• IFRS reporting and consolidation and tax / transfer pricing are seen as an advantage.
• Understanding of Finnish Accounting Standards (FAS) and tax, IFRS standards, transfer pricing principles and international taxation.
