R&D Engineer

What will you do?

We are looking for a motivated professional who wants to develop their expertise in product development. Your daily work will include a variety of technical-oriented tasks such as creating different types of technical documentation, performing structural analyses, and supporting local technical teams. Your responsibilities can expand over time, depending on your ambitions and strengths.

We're looking for someone who can take initiative, work independently, and collaborate smoothly with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. You have an eye for detail and consistently follow through on tasks – both routine and challenging. Most importantly, you are willing to learn new things.

You'll report to the Senior Manager of the Development Projects team. This position is based in Lahti, Finland, and requires office presence, with the possibility to work remotely up to two days per week.

Your knowledge, skills & experience

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Good written and spoken skills in English; Finnish skills are an advantage
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good IT skills and experience with different calculation tools, plus eagerness to adopt new technologies
