Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our Software Engineering team in Lahti. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Peikko Designer^® software solutions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical decisions. You’ll work in a collaborative, low-hierarchy environment that values innovation and professional growth.

Location: Lahti, Finland (Hybrid: 3 office days/week)

Position type: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Peikko Designer^® software solutions
Modernize legacy software and build new architecture
Create and maintain in-house release pipelines with robust testing
Ensure application stability and reliability throughout development sprints
Manage version control and release schedules
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with business goals

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
Extensive experience in software development, including full-stack applications
Strong expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, WPF, SQL databases, document databases, and Azure cloud environment
Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript
Experience with Web APIs (REST, gRPC)
Strong teamwork and communication abilities, excellent written and spoken skills in English
Proactive mindset and ownership of tasks
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Experience in structural engineering projects or product design is a significant advantage
