Peikko Group has signed an agreement with the City of Lahti regarding cooperation with Carbon Neutral Construction Development Center. The center has been created to continue the city's work for environmental protection and development. It aims to find new ways and technical solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of construction and enable the related pilot projects to take place in Lahti.
As part of this cooperation, Peikko will continue to develop its DELTABEAM® Green product offering. Peikko’s goal is to manufacture at least half of the Finnish DELTABEAM® production as low carbon products and thus, decrease the amount of emissions by 25% by 2025. The conference is part of the official program of the Lahti Green Capital year.
