Peikko is strengthening its North American operations by taking over factory operations in Montreal, Canada. Nova Steel Products, Peikko’s long-term partner, sold its DELTABEAM® manufacturing equipment and leased its production facility in LaSalle, Montreal. 25 employees joined Peikko's Canadian entity, Peikko Canada Inc. The transaction was closed on July 26, 2026.
The collaboration between Nova Steel and Peikko has continued for more than ten years. Due to a strategic shift, the parties have now agreed on a new future for the LaSalle facility, manufacturing the DELTABEAM® Composite Beams solely. The other Nova Steel Products' production unit in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, continue to support Peikko with deliveries, and the parties also continue their cooperation in other areas.

Peikko has been present in North America since 2007, with a main office located in Quebec City, Canada. The operations span from the West to the East Coast, with a sales and service network that reaches throughout Canada and the USA. The headcount, after the expansion into manufacturing, is some 50 employees. Peikko’s main business area in North America is DELTABEAM® Slim Floor Structures and Composite Beams, which allow the creation of open spaces in multi-story buildings.
