A residential project in Bratislava shows how reliable partnership and practical support create value on site.
RD Bohúňova 15 in Bratislava is a three-story private residence, modest in size but clear in what it required: a solution that works, arrives on time, and adapts when needed.
From the start, the project moved forward on a foundation of an existing relationship. The original structural design included another solution, but when Peikko reviewed the plans, an alternative design was prepared. During the process, TEBEA®, Peikko’s thermal break connector, proved to be the right fit for the updated design.
Though TEBEA® was recently launched and not familiar to the customer at the time, it was easily adopted.
“They trusted Peikko and what they already knew. Our job was to respond with the right design and the support needed,” says Dominik Dubecky, Sales Manager at Peikko Slovakia.
That trust simplified decision-making at a point where it often becomes complicated. A new product did not need to be justified from scratch; it was accepted based on proven experience.

A solution that fits real site conditions
The building included a mix of cantilever, corner, and supported balconies, all requiring 120 mm insulation. TEBEA® provided a consistent solution across the structure, including non-load-bearing elements through the TEBEA® N variant.
On-site, the focus was on practicality. Installation was straightforward, elements were clearly marked, and packaging supported easy handling, especially important on a smaller site with limited space. Deliveries were coordinated to match the construction schedule, helping the team keep the work flowing. As the constructor commented:
“Cooperation with Peikko was flexible, and our requirements were met. Compared to other competitors, we found no disadvantages with using the TEBEA®.”
Support that stays relevant
Every project evolves as it progresses. What matters is how smoothly those adjustments are handled.
In Bohúňova, technical support remained consistent throughout. When updates were needed, they were addressed quickly and without unnecessary complexity. The focus stayed on keeping the project moving and making sure the solution continued to fit.
Value built on trust
For the customer, value in this project came down to a few clear outcomes.
- The solution covered different balcony types with one consistent product family.
- Deliveries were timed to match the construction schedule.
- Installation was straightforward, without adding extra complexity on-site.
- When updates were needed, they were handled without delaying the work or requiring new deliveries.
That combination reduced coordination effort and helped keep the project on track.
As the Bohúňova project shows, trust has a practical impact in day-to-day work: fewer questions, faster decisions, and solutions that fit without friction from design through to installation.
