The Teltonika Technology Center is a contemporary architectural and technological injection for a small town located in the region

Discover the latest innovation in Molėtai, Lithuania with the grand opening of the Teltonika Technology Center in 2022. This state-of-the-art facility spans an impressive 10,800 square meters and is equipped with cutting-edge offices, advanced laboratories, comprehensive testing facilities, and efficient production lines. It serves as the hub for Teltonika's ground-breaking advancements in telemedicine and network devices.

The construction of the Teltonika Technology Center was made possible by the utilization of DELTABEAM® Composite Beams. These specially designed beams were employed for the two floors of the building, as well as the roof of the administrative section. Altogether, an extensive 358-meter length of these beams was utilized, showcasing the project's remarkable engineering achievements. Despite encountering several challenges throughout its realization, the Teltonika Technology Center stands as a testament to the power of innovation and determination.

Incorporating cutting-edge engineering techniques, the Teltonika Technology Center showcases remarkable design and manufacturing capabilities. The facility features cantilever beams meticulously crafted to support facades and columns, which, in turn, uphold the roof covering structures. Each cantilever spans an impressive 2.38 meters, emphasizing the project's commitment to precision and structural integrity.

To meet the client's specific requirements, extended DELTABEAM® Composite Beam ledges were skillfully designed using Peikko’s own software DELTABEAM SELECT, to provide robust support for the slabs at the columns. This ingenious solution eliminated the need for additional anchor plates and on-site welded details, streamlining the construction process and enhancing overall efficiency.

For the facades, Type D DELTABEAM® Composite Beams with formworks were ingeniously employed. This innovative approach resulted in a flawlessly smooth surface, even when the beams were not connected perpendicularly. Such expertise in non-standard product design and manufacturing highlights the outstanding capabilities of both the designer and the company behind this remarkable project.

DELTABEAM® Composite Beams were selected for the construction of the slabs, providing convenient installation and allowing for large spans, which facilitated efficient architectural space planning. The use of DELTABEAM® slim floor connections ensured minimal interference with engineering systems, eliminating the need for additional fireproofing through painting. Furthermore, the beams were seamlessly connected to the columns using concealed PCs® corbels, optimizing the utilization of the building space.
