Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a document providing information about the environmental impact of a product during its entire life cycle. It is also known by the formal name Type III Environmental Declaration.

The environmental performance of products is based on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). LCAs give an overview of the environmental impacts of products. Sustainability is easy to evaluate when you have all competent product information in the same format.
