COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

We are looking for a creative and experienced Communications Manager to join our global Marketing and Communications team.

As Communications Manager at Peikko Group, you will be responsible for our internal and external communications. You will develop and implement communications processes and practices globally and create content for various internal and external platforms. In this role, you will work closely with our Peikko Group Management Team, Group Support teams, and Peikko units across over 30 countries.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Creating and developing annual internal and external communications plans
• Conceptualizing and producing engaging content for internal and external channels
• Managing and developing the Group's global intranet and social media presence
• Coordinating activities with Peikko units and organizing internal communications-related events
• Planning and implementing employer branding in cooperation with Human Resources
• Participating in the Group Marketing and Communications team’s development projects

As for competencies, skills, and experience, we're looking for someone with:

• Solid storytelling, writing, and text editing skills
• Excellent presentation and collaboration skills as well as hands-on approach and positive can-do attitude
• Strong project and time management skills, the ability to work and develop matters independently
• University degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
• At least five years of experience working in a similar role
• Excellent spoken and written language capabilities in Finnish and English

You will report to Mervi Kainulainen, Marketing Director for Peikko Group. This is a permanent position located in Lahti, Finland, and we are using a hybrid working model.
