Why have you chosen to study civil engineering?
I have always been very interested in mathematics. So, it was very clear to me that engineering was the right way to go. I have been fascinated by the building industry from a young age and been watching shows about the prestigious projects built around the world.
When did you start in Peikko and what is your job in Peikko about?
I started in Peikko as an engineer trainee in 2017. In the beginning I was helping the sales guys with quotations. But since summer 2017 I have been working as a project manager on the Danish DELTABEAM® projects.
What do you like most about your job?
I like the versatility in the daily work. I like to have the contact with clients, the factory, and the guys on the construction sites. Of course, the great Danish team is fantastic to be part of.
What projects that you did in Peikko are you most proud of?
I think the project that I am most proud of is Emilies Plads. It demanded some technical solutions that I have never done before or since.
What is the strangest/craziest thing you have had in your work or were asked by a customer?
There is nothing that comes to mind. I have had various brackets and special connections that have been not standard, but nothing crazy yet.
What are your biggest interests outside working life?
I recently got a baby boy, so that is my main interest outside work. Otherwise I like to travel the world and hang out with friends.
